Default some incoming calls only ring once

Please Login to Remove!

lately i've noticed that some of my calls only ring once and then immediately disconnect. i have asked the person calling and they say that it acts as if i diverted the call to VM (ie pressed the ignore button). i know i'm not doing anything though b/c most of the time the phone is on my desk in front of me... i'm running the telstra version of the OS, but i want to say that this has happened before i switched to telstra.

your carrier may be overloaded and switching the call to VM to clear the load. Not uncommon

I don't think that's a BB issue, that happens to me on my Razr and some previous phones. It's got to be a network issue.

i doubt its network congestion..... the first call of the day 99.9% of the time rings once and goes to voicemail.. no matter if its 6am or 9am.. calls after that almost always go through without issue. and immediately after the hiccup happens calls go through no problems... its just that first call (after no voice activity).

It's definately a hiccup somewhere between the phone and the network. I don't think it's an OS issue with the BB because I've had it happen on several phones from several companies.
