Yes I've searched this forum and Howard Forum. Neither has any info on my specific issue..

Before I connect to the BES, Ramble IM works fine - Standard Cingular APN settings.. Once I activate on BES I get an error message:
"The application Ramble has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy."

The Ramble settings are:

Network Connection: Device TCP (I've also tried MDS TCP)

TOC Host & Port: toc.oscar.aol.com:8080 (I've also tried entering the IP Address)

My BES Admin claims nothing gets blocked by the BES and he verified that MDS in enabled on the BES and my account.

I've wiped the BB numerous times and get the same result.
