Default (1) Memory leak in app version 4.2.0.71 (2) AVI movies

1) I tried searching for an answer but couldn't locate it. I've been using the 8100 for about 5 months, and it's been the coolest phone. I have used $500+ phones such as Sony Ericsson Z800. My Pearl work great except for the "memory leak" issue, where emails and call logs automatically get deleted when the available memory space goes low. I have now made a habit of deletiing all internet histories, cache, event log, etc. Yet, as days go by, memory runs low. I have managed to download Metsfan's reboot program which has done wonders.

What is the newer app version of 4.2.0.71? And for those that already has it, or installed it, did the memory leak problem get resolved?

2) A friend has the t-mobile Pearl and has a bunch of mini cartoon and adult movies in his phone. Is there a site where I can download AVI movies? Or do the regualr movies need to be converted to AVI?

Here is a link to the thread that has the latest version of the Pearl OS: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...2-1-107-a.html

I did a quick scan through and could not find anything that mentions what is fixed. I have seen posts in the thread stating that the OS seems to be the most solid and stable release yet. But if you are still having issues with the memory leaks, then check this FAQ if you haven't already: Why is my BlackBerry losing its call logs or message logs? - BlackBerryFAQ

And here is something for video: How do I encode video for use on my device? - BlackBerryFAQ

Hey, thanks the info.

As for the movies, before I encode, I need to find movies. Is there a site where they already have the encoded AVI movies available for download? By movies, I mean non-PG, R.
