Default NM: was just an outage in the area

I d/l'ed webmessenger and installed via the desktop manager. I have 7290 v3.8 with Cingular. I did a backup of the device before the install. I installed the program and now I have no GPRS. It says "data connection refused." So I uninstalled webmessenger and restored to the backup and went to cingular.com/blackberry and resent the service book. I also went to host routing tables and registered the bold one. I rebooted. Still no data!

Sounds more like a problem at Cingular than with Webmessenger.

AFAIK I know an application can't mess up service books...

I wonder if it is a Cingular issue. My 7290 started "Data Connection Refused" at around 4 PM today (EST). I called support. They were seeing the same problem, so they suggested it was network-wide.
