hi all,
I am using ButtonField Class for creating buttons for my Front End.
But I am facing problems when i try to change the default blue colour of the button background.
I tried overriding the paint method but only a part of the button changes to colour specified the outline is always blue which im unable to change.
If anyone has solution please reply.

i don't think there is an override for this. i've seen the same query on the rim site and i'm pretty sure there wasn't anything able to do this.

Actually, you can do this by overriding the drawFocus().

does that override the whole button though? when i've tried overrides like this on buttons before some of the theme is still visible and it ends up looking a mess.

From what I understand you're trying to get rid of or change the blue background when your buttonfield is focused correct? The drawFocus() in your button field takes care of that so if you override, you can either draw your own focus or leave it blank to get rid of the focus completely.
