Default Sourceless move help BES on Domino

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

I'm new to all things BES and I've been tasked with setting up a fail over solution for BES, lucky me.

I've set up 2 servers with Domino 6.5 and BES 4.1.6. Both BES servers are connected to a single sql db (sql replication comes next) and I can see both servers from the BES manager.

My problem is moving users between servers. I am able to move users from BES02 to BES01 however I cannot go the other way. When I try to move a user from BES01 to BES02 I get this error on BES02

{CN=MyUser/O=ORG} DoUserMove: Unable to find account document for user CN=MyUser/0=ORG on server CN=BES01

Users state db are set for 2 way replication (have also tried one-way as the BES documentation suggests) and permissions look fine to me (I'm not a notes expert either)

Does anyone know what this account document is that they are looking for? Is something not being created properly on the domino server?

Thanks
Alex

It's referring to the BlackBerry profiles db.

What replication did you setup?

I've only setup replication for the users state db, the doco states to not replicate the profiles db. Am I looking at old info?

Look for a rep/save conflict doc in the profile database for that user or any doc in the profile database on the destination server for that user. If you find one delete it and try again. You are correct that the profiles database should not be replicated across BES servers.. depending on how you set up the replication doc you may have accidentally replicated them.
