So is this the Nextel unit or the Sprint 7520. I know there is one that works on the Sprint network but im not too sure about the Nextel phones. If i can activate this on my Sprint acct, id be interested...

it is iDEN, not CDMA. I'd call Sprint and ask them. They are one company now.

BB 7520 = NXTL (iDEN)
BB 7250 = SPRINT (CDMA)

The 7520 is an iden device and will not work on the sprint cdma network. and no it will never be capable of working with your sprint network.
