I just upgraded from Exchange 2003 to 2010.

I got my new BES server working, but I have 1 user who does not want to be on the BES server and use OWA portal instead. Under 2003 we did this via the BIS server. No matter what I put in the settings, I get the following error:

Cannot connect to email server or invalid server name: Please verify the Outlook Web Access URL. If the error persists contact .....

I try and configure the account using: Blackberry Sprint Mail website instead of the device itself. Does not make a difference.

I tried <domain>\<usernmame>, just <username>, and the entire email address as a possible username. All failed.

OWA does work. I've been able to connect android phones, iphones, and outlook clients via RDP over HTTP.

This is the only issue I am having.

I am using a wildcard certificate that was issued by a third party. This was the suggestions approach by the Microsoft Deployment guide.

I've tried many different message threads and none of them have been any helpful.

What I really need is a more meaningful errormessage from the online BIS website.

Any suggestions?
