Default Migrate from GW (BES 4.1) to Exch (BES 5 Express)

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys,

We are migrating from GroupWise to Exchange Server 2010.
We have 15 BlackBerry users who will also need to be migrated.
We have installed Blackberry Enterprise Server EXPRESS for Exchange (V5.0.3).

What I would like to know is how to migrate the BB user accounts from our GW BES to our new Exchange BES Server..

.. Can the Enterprise Transporter Tool be installed to migrate from source to destination DB? (even though it is not an upgrade, but a cross messaging platform migration?)

.. Will the BB devices need to be wiped?

.. In addition, what should the end users expect for their devices?

Any help will be grateful.

Thanks in Advance.

Jay

I believe all the devices will need to be wiped and manually activated on the new BES for Exchange.

That would be "NEGATIVE GHOST RIDER. The pattern is full" for using the Transporter between e-mail platforms.

Exchange, Domino, GroupWise. RIM has yet to create one single tool that let all this mailstores talk in a common language with one another.
