Default BES (4.x) on a Virtual Server

Has anybody done this yet? I've just started playing with Microsoft Virtual Server and was curious. Any suggestions if I want to install BES on a VM?

BES 4.1.2 is supported in production envrionments on VMWare ESX only.
But for testing I think everything else is okay. I have set my test lab including a BES on my laptop with VMWare Workstation 5.5.3.

It works under VMware and I think it would work also under Microsoft Virtual Server, but you need to test it in your configuration.

I have yet to see any MS Windows app not work under an ESX server built to the hardware and software compatibility specs. Now if you need to use some sort of dongle or other specialized hardware I could see where you might run into some issues.

We have BES 4.0 on Microsoft Virtual Server for over a year. It runs very nice since they put out the R2 version, before there were some performance problems, Processor would run up to 100% very often. we were very glad to see that issue resolved. we will be moving another physical server to a virtual and upgrade to 4.1 sometime soon. We have about 15 users per server, 2 servers total.
