That's smart thinking canon, since the keyboard lights don't stay on as long as the trackball most of the time, guess I'll do this when the time is right... lemme as you one thing... when you disassembled the keypad, find anything that'll trigger the warrant to be voided? I still haven't found anything that voids the warranty that they could check.

NO i didnt find anything that would trip and void the warranty. Just be careful with the bottom piece. The antenna for the phone is down there and it is easy to shred that piece to bits. EVERYONE DONT FORGET TO TAKE IT APART AND TAKE THE TAPE OFF IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO A WARRANTY CLAIM. IF YOU LEAVE IT ON THERE, THEY WILL DEF KNOW. Gl and be careful with the bottom piece. It is the hardest one to get off

my trackball is blue too :D i want to color the keypad(only the white place) with blue white and red, like first line blue, second line white, third line red,like this |||
