Default battery dead?

Please Login to Remove!

im not sure what's wrong with it or what to do. my 9530 worked fine a few hours ago. it said the battery was fully charged and then it just died. when i started it up again it would boot up and then say the battery was dead, and shut off. i tried charging it and nothing. any ideas other than a dead battery?

Charge the device for about 3 hours and then remove the battery for 30 seconds and then replace it. Then charge it for a few more hours.

Welcome to the forums.

If the device won't power on, how will this help?

Agreed with jsconyers, what are you advising? AppLoader loads apps.

i took jsconyers advice and im charging it but it has a constant green light which im guessing means the battery is fully charged. when i started it though, it showed the powering down pop up and worked for a few seconds after that. and now it's shut down and doing everything all over again

Ok, do this.

LEAVE it plugged to the charger or USB cable. NOW remove the battery a few seconds, re-insert. And leave it plugged for a while longer. What is the charge percentage at (Options > Status)?

Any luck?
