Take a look at LinksysInfo - Community Forums for Linksys Devices - Powered by vBulletin

There are some firmware alternatives for the WAP54G that will allow you to up your power levels. Pay attention to which version of the WAP54G you have and which version of firmware works with it (some firmware for the WAP54G v1 will turn the WAP54G v3 into a brick, and visa versa, or so I'm led to believe).

PS: are the bluetooth compatability tweaks in the DD-WRT mini version, or only the full version?

For anyone looking for an alternative to DD-WRT, with similar benefits, take a look at Tomato: Tomato Firmware | polarcloud.com

I like it better than DD-WRT because of its simplicity and ease of configuration. The QOS also appears to work much better than DD-WRT.

Heard of it but never tried it. I've noticed, even with QoS enabled I still get choppy voice when something is downloading on my pc.

I'd have to check my own configuration when I get home, but how did you set up QoS on DD-WRT? I just got the MAC from my 8320 and set it as the priority device.

The only testing I did was start a couple of downloads of files several GB in size and make a few calls and it seemed to work fine. That was months ago when I first got the 8320, though.
