Qingjg8008: Does your application support Chinese characters? Also, does it support simple text file with size greater than 64KB? I do have micro SD memory card.

Yes, It support Chinese.
Text files which are larger than 64KB will be cut off at the 64KB when reading files.

Any chance of getting this application signed so trying to a file is not a stream of yes/no about access?

I keep getting the same message. Where do you set permissions to allow? I can only see config in my menu. Am I looking in the wrong spot?

To avoid this, turn on firewall and set permissions.

That is a nuisance. Some people have reported problems with other programs that don't like the firewall. I was having problems with VR+ so I disabled my firewall. This application has to be signed.

Well, it does not HAVE to be signed but it sure would be nice. I removed it since it was too much hassle to use. And, yes, the Firewall creates problems in one way for this application (and others, too) and in other ways for other applications.

Exclamation Can someone help?

I Tried installing this software last night but got some invalid COD error.
Later I realized that the "Switch Input Language" stopped functioning in AutoText:
Alternative languages don't appear anymore when I menu to "Switch Input Language"!
The keyboard shortcut doesn't change the language either.
(In MemoPad however, the languages switches OK.)
Do you think there might be a connection between BBNotePad and this AutoText mal function?
Can you possibly guess what might it be so I can fix the AutoText?
I restored all the backups I had with no results;
The AutoText settings don't change back to what they were.
I'm new to the BlackBerry and don't know how to get the AutoText back to the way it was.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow, this software rocks.... Even lets me get into my co-pilot record keeping files and delete them! I reclaimed 5MB of memory doing this, honest! Went from 6 free to 11!

Thanks for the great app! it will be quite useful for putting together batch scripts and strings and being able to copy and paste strings to people and edit them on the computer is huge.

Thanks again for the contribution!

The author and myself are working on getting the great piece of software both signed and hosted in a stable environment. Please be patient and watch this space for further information!

For now:
The ZIP file for the desktop can be found at: http://krzysztow.com/BBNotePad/BBNotePad.zip

The OTA can be found at: http://krzysztow.com/BBNotePad/BBNotePad.jad

This will end up being one of those staple applications--like BBWeather!

Can't wait for it to be signed. I don't wanna mess with the firewall stuff since it affects other apps so signing will be nice.
