Default Tour Concern - Ear Sweat

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All. Has anyone that uses the Tour experienced a problem with sweat from your ear leaking into the LCD causing short to long term issues with the phones functionality? My hope is to conduct a civilized discussion around resolutions to the problem---like ear sweat proof skin cases---or having the phone de sweated by a repair shop.

Jeez. Give it a rest already.
You're not going to get any sympathy from anyone here after your previous posts.

I have never heard of anyone having "ear sweat" to "leak" (is that even possible?) into the LCD. Ever.

Sounds like a unique situation.

If you have over active ear sweat glans(?), there are cases to protect your device.

its unique...because the phone is leaking...not my ear sweat...the phone. when the phone is in contact with the side of my head...or my ear...sweat is created from the heat caused by the friction between the phone and my ear...the resulting sweat then LEAKS through the seam resulting from faulty manufacturing!!!! the phone is broken.

BlackBerry Tour Cases // OtterBox.com
unfortunately the Otterbox doesnt stop the sweat from your ear/head from seaping behind the LCD that results from fault manufacturing. if anyone knows of another case that could resolve the issue please let me know.

Hmmm .... well, which is it? Is the "sweat from your ear leaking into the LCD" ?? Or is "the phone is leaking...not my ear sweat" ?? Which one??

And FRICTION?? Are you rubbing the phone against your ear? I have never heard of anyone experiencing FRICTION between their phone and their ear.

did you ever study physics? there is friction between any two objects in space...i am clearly NOT the first person to complain of sweat on a phone...and...the sweat is leaking into my phone...which means, if you are paying attention and can imagine being on the other side of my LCD, my LCD is leaking!!!! the friction causes heat which causes sweat...and leads to a problem when you have a crappy phone with a broken LCD!!!! and you are a man.

It's more like your ears are leaking and the phone is absorbing...
