I have a BES account on a Tour and will be losing the BES account shortly. Since all of my contacts, calendar etc from Outlook 2007 are on my Tour can I just installed BB DM6 and create a profile on my Outlook 2007 and then sync the Tour with the newly created profile?

Is this a workable solution to move everything to Outlook 2007 and is there a better method to accomplish the goal?

Depends upon the IT policy associated with your BB. Maybe chat with your BES Admin.

Are you saying that the IT Policy could prevent the above "solution"? Right now I really don't want to discuss it with the IT people so if the IT Policy prevents the solution do you have another way of getting the BB information onto a new computer with Outlook 2007 and no OST file?

Have you tried syncing with Outlook on your home PC? It is worth a try before you do anything else.

Also you can sync with Google if the IT Policy allows it.
