I recently left my job. I had my old Outlook email sent to my Tour, and it was the default email. I also have gmail and yahoo email on the Tour. My old work account is no longer active, but the icon still appears on my Tour and the dead account is still the default for sending emails.

I went to email setup to remove the account, but it only shows the gmail and yahoo accounts. Any ideas?

Have u looked at your manual and/or contacted Tech Support?

I got a hold of my manual and later contacted Tech Support. Now I have no current issues.

I believe I was on a BES. I no longer have the manual. I will contact Tech Support, but it's usually faster, more accurate and less frustrating to get answers here.

If the device has be deactivated, remove the IT Policy or have the BES Admin send a blank one.

See the FAQ for how to remove it.

Or, the easy way is to hide the icon.

BDunn7 in "Removing Specific Contact List" in the general BB forum. You can go back to BB email client by using wipe clean. Good luck!
