Hi !
am looking for a version of the Desktop Manager that would work with Outlook 2007... and a BB7230 and a french OS. Thanks!

Desktop Manager 4.2 SP1 (Multilanguage) should work fine.

While with a bit of hacking you can get any vendors firmware (for the same device) to work, you're best to stick with your vendor's firmware. The global list of vendor firmware links is here:

The 7230 uses the same software as the 7210 and 7280 (no hacking required - not sure what JerryD is referring to). Download the latest version - which is not particularly new and install it to your PC.

Delete VENDOR.XML from your PCs C: drive

Restart Desktop Manager

I just upgraded a 7230 and it works fine.

Default 7230 may be better than 8800

I,m thinking about going back to the 7230. Not happy with the 8800. Keyboard is too small and its much to fragile.

If you can deal with GPRS over EDGE, then fine. And a dull screen.

Now if you said going back to an 8700 from the 8800, then I could agree with that. I do not love the 8800 either.

Id try and get an 8700 I loved my 7230 in fact still have it as an emergency back-up should my 8700 go the way of the DoDo.
