Default T-Mobile Wing or TyTn II -- too thick?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone,

I'm considering getting a Wing or a TyTn II - but all of the pictures I see make them look very thick.

If anyone has a BB curve or 8800 and a Wing or a TyTn who can compare the thickness of the two phones side by side in a picture, that would be great.

Are they too thick?

Both are thicker than the Curve. However, I am using the Tilt right now on T-Mobile, and I intend to keep it for a long time. The device is not significantly larger than the BB at all, for while it might be thicker it is also narrower, and the keyboard is much nicer to type on.

My advice is to find an unlocked Tilt/Kaiser. It is a MUCH nicer phone than the Wing.

I did some googling (YAY google!)

I found the dimensions for the curve are: 2.4 x 4.2 x 0.6 inches
Whereas the Tilt/Kaiser is:4.4 x 2.3 x 0.73 inches
So it's about 0.13" wider than the curve

The wing is: 2.3 x 4.3 x 0.7 inches
so its a little smaller width wise than the Tilt/Kaiser...

Yupp yupp!

I had a wing for about 2 weeks. Not only was it slow, but It felt like a brick in my pocket. My co-workers use to make fun of me by putting a laptop to their faces and talking on their laptops saying that they have a better/smaller phone.
