Question Recommendations on Windows Mobile Devices

Please Login to Remove!

Okay, don't start flaming me - I'm asking for honest opinions and this is not intended as a debate between Blackberry & Windows devices.

My supervisor asked me to get a Windows device to test in the event some of the features would be advantageous to our IT staff. We don't have any plans to move away from BB, but just want to check our options. And hey, I get to play with a new toy.

We must go with Sprint due to our current contracts and I am limited to the following devices (not all devices offered by Sprint are available on our contract).

1. PPC 6800/HTC Mogul
2. Motorola Q 9c - supposed to come with the extended battery

I'm going to a Sprint store today to physically look at the devices, but want to know people's experience with these devices. Likes/dislikes, overall quality of the device, etc. Thanks in advance for the help.

one recomendation, if you go with the Q, factor in the cost of an extended battery into the purchase, otherwise the price will be decieving. as to the others, its been so long since i have physically used one of those i will defer to others.

See my post on password issues with WM devices. http://www.blackberryforums.com/hand...ord-issue.html

Unless i'm just too much of a novice to figure a way around that....

If your going to stay on Sprint, the HTC Mogul isn't bad. A friend of mine has one and he loves it. It is also the only phone on Sprint to use EVDO Rev A, which gives it the fastest download speed of any of their phones. Samsung also just came out with the ACE, which is the CDMA equivalent of the Blackjack. It got some decent reviews.
