so i don't know the exact error..cause i get pissed when i see the "white screen of death" haha my phone started doing this when i updated from 4.8 to 5.0 no rotation to it..just a random app error pops for no apparent reason...can be in my pocket, on my bed, on my dresser ect..no 1 place does it more then others..its really annoying..no idea whats wrong and im not gonna pay to get a new blackberry...i rather get a Samsung captive..but i don't wanna pay 500 bucks for one of those..


so..any help??

To be clear, you are seeing a white screen with the error notification, and maybe "reset" .... And you click and the device reboots ok?

Are you running a third-party theme? Did you download any new app(s) right before the problem started?

You are going to have to play detective. Think of the apps you have that you most suspect as the problem. Delete one and run for 24 or 48 hours without it as a test. If all is well you can decide whether you really need that app, or you can re-install it and see if the problem returns. If you still have the problem after deleting that first app, then delete the next app you suspect, etc.

If you are using a third-party theme, switch to a stock theme for a few days.

You may end up wiping the device with JL_CMDER and re-installing the OS. If you do, be cautious about the third-party apps and themes that you re-install. You may want to add one, and test for a few days before adding the next.

no 3rd party themes, only facebook, opera browser, and i sue pics from my camera as my background. the white screen error message is just completely random..no reason why it pops up. just pops up then i restart and it wont pop up for a while

it has happened to me twice in the last 24 hours..its "app error 523" this phone only has Face book, opera, and a pic form my camera..nothing else..its up to date on updates..

when it pops the error its as i'm uploading a pic to facebook..the phone freezes up and pops the error after about 5 minuets
