Default Password lock from keyboard???

Please Login to Remove!

hi i have a blackberry curve 8530 from sprint. i know that i can lock the keyborard by pressing the 'a' key, but i was wondering if there is a way to password lock the phone by pressing that key or some other key, because i would like to password lock the phone when i lock it without going into the applications list and clicking lock. thanks in advance

For what it's work the "k" worked from mine. I have a VZW 8530. I had to turn off dial from home screen in phone/options/general.....

What didn't work? Do you have dialing from the Home Screen turned off?

To use the K shortcut -- if it is still available on your OS -- you need to disable dial from home as Motorcycle Mama say, but also reprogram the language shortcut so it doesn't use the K key (or else uninstall other languages).

Alt-return will also engage the password lock.
