I've had numerous models of BBs in the past, and I have never had this problem until I got the Torch 9810.
My calendar keeps deleting the appointments from the past. It seems to only keep things in the current month and the future months, but nothing in the past.
I have checked the calendar settings, and it is set to keep my appointments forever, which is the setting I have used with my past BBs (including the 9800, which is what I had before this one). I just tried changing it to 90days tonight, but I won't find out for a while if that may fix this glitch. Even if it did, I want to keep my past appointments for longer than that.

I don't use Outlook.
I am on a BIS.
This phone was purchased new so it was never activated on a BES.
It is running the current OS.
I reboot the phone on a regular basis to keep it running smoothly.

I didn't realize how dependent I was on my calendar.

It's probably removing old appointments to free up memory.

I have come across similar issues with OS 7 devices and the calendar feature. Backing up all your data with desktop software and reloading the devices OS usually corrects the issue. This resolution is usually not the most popular fix but from my experience it does work more so than not.

Ugh, that's too bad....I hope RIM knows of this issue and are working on a update right now.
Did you mean to downgrade the OS? Or completely removing the current OS and reloading it?
