Default one BPS and two accounts

Please Login to Remove!

Our CEO has an outside email address on top having his normal office email which is driven to him by our BPS server. Is there anyway like there is in BIS to add this outside email to BPS so that he can recieve it on his blackberry with this normal office email, and when he replies to his outside email it looks like it was sent via his outside email and not his office email as it work on BIS?

Thanks
Andrew

No there isn't. It would be best to keep them seperate, using BIS to get his external email and BPS for the internal email.

If you setup BIS account on his BB you should see one more icon placed on main screen called by email address you created. For example [email address]
From there you should be able to send and receive as [email address] and not as BES (company email address.) email address.

Yes we currently have it setup that way, but the problem is when he views the emails that come in on from BIS he gets a dailog box saying there is some issue with the service book as he scrolls throug the message. Plus if he selects more on the message he gets the same error message.

On emails that come from BPS he does not get any errors at all.

Thanks

How do I setup the BIS account on his BB? The PDA is already talking to BPS just fine.

Thanks

In main menu go to E-mail Settings icon and enter email and password of your email account.

That's it! What is the third party email you are trying to setup? btw. How else you would setup BIS account for a user? I haven't had a chance to use BPS. Is that an option through BPS? I don't think you can do it on their website any more??

Yes the phone has an email-setting icon, the use previously had a blackberry.net (BIS) account which I have disabled the forwarding on and left the outside email in question on to forward to the phone, so if I go into th email-settings icon at this point will it create the folder on his phone?

Thanks

Yes it will.
btw. you don't need blackberry.net email address for all this to work. Just do what I told you and you should be good.
