The only people I know on LinkedIn are those with too much time on their hands.
Anyhow, everyone is on Facebook already...

As most people I could dig having fully threaded SMS and MMS
I'd like to see a real nice browser made by Mozilla (opera is ok but idk)
A simple free (or preferably integrated by RIM) number blocker. I just want to put a number in and they can't call me.
a good cache/memory cleaner.

Automatic time zone changing. How hard can this be? Every other phone on the face of the earth does it? The math get difficult when I have to add or subtract 2 or 3!

I wish my GPS applications could interact with a weather app. For instance, in GoogleMaps, it sees where I am on the map, I wish I had an option to overlay weather radar so I could see approaching rain, etc.

The windows live app will allow you to at least get the weather for you location based on the GPS and you can view the map of your location separately.

Ooh, I'll do you one better... when that unwanted number calls, the phone answers automatically, and plays the recording: "I'm sorry, the number you have called has been disconnected or is no longer in service."

- Reduce the brightness of the clock when in "Bedside mode" so that I can sleep. (my Bose clock/radio gets super-dimmed automatically when I turn the lights off. BB should do this.)
- Profile option to Vibrate and Ring at the same time.
- User-definable keyboard shortcuts from home screen
- Lock phone to EDGE network to save of battery when necessary
- a 1850mAh battery for my Bold (so close to a dayxxx8217;s worth of work before it wants to die.)
- Timed Profiles (like Nokia phones) xxx8211; e.g. Return back to original profile after xx minutes/hours
- BES Professional to have same features at BES. (HTML email, Wireless Upgrade, etc.)
- Search contact phone numbers... Like when someone says do you know who is at 6195551212?
- Ability to go to the home screen while Searching Emails by pressing END... Right now it aborts the search.
- User option: To require user to press End twice during a phone call to end the call so that you donxxx8217;t accidentally end call while trying to navigate other device applications.
- Separate mailbox icon for BlackBerry Enterprise Email (Separate out BES emails like other personal emails.)
- Ability to select a different icon shape/color for each message account .. Difficult to distinguish between the different accounts quickly.
- Add the ability to retrieve/request the email SMTP message header when you are reviewing a message. (IT would love this.)
- Select All option when in text select mode.
- Ability to select any part of text in a BlackBerry Messenger conversation, including the incoming/outgoing messages.
- Thread like text messaging similar to iPhone.
- Ability to save customizations to a theme.
- Query My Documents on our Enterprise Servers and open, modify Word, Excel documents. (and email so I can email fax to a local fax machinexxx8230;)
- Pandora on my BlackBerry
- Shortcut keys should be consistent: Search in message list is xxx8220;sxxx8221; while search in Internet application is xxx8220;fxxx8221;.
- Docking/Charging cradles also allow for data connectivity to computer. (I have on by my bed plugged into the wall and one at the office plugged into my laptop, but if I want to data connect it I have to plug it directly into the phone.)

To be able to assign tasks (delegate), check out REXwireless's ToDoMatrix. Looks like it fills the bill.
As for turning off 3G, all Bolds except AT&T ones can do this. Mine is an unlocked Rogers unit and gives me the option for 2G only. It totally mystifies me that AT&T would lock out this feature, especially with all the complaints about their 3G network.

Aviation related programs, in particular a flight planning app. I was using CoPilot on my Palm and really enjoyed it. CoPilot has plans to write an app for iPhone but no meantion of BB.

A cutlist application
I am a woodworker that uses my BB all the time for everything but what would be the BEST app out there would be a construction app that contains a Cutlist program for cabinets, a truss layout program that would give you the lengths and materials needed for different types of trusses and finally a pluggin that would plug directly into a profiler that cuts moulding and instructs small to large cnc machines not sure if all this can be done with a BB???
I personally am looking for a application that has the date option text only 00/00/00 and a start and stop that uses drop down menu's to choose time worked also a material checklist used and everthing would need to be calculated then submited by button that sends an email for the daily projects.

A must have for anyone who wants better battery life: ..... The Close All Utilty
It will close all applications that have been left open
Automatically ignores core applications
Allows you to exclude other programs
For the absent-minded it will double battery life
Timer option to close programs X number of times per day
Your first customer awaits it for a blackberry Bold 9000/4.6.0.216

I'm sure I am in the minority but I would really like an app that would allow me to constantly display the time of tide for the area I am in (i.e.Boston, Portland, etc.) Also I agree we need one that lets the phone auto update for time zones. Thanks.
