Hi everyone
my friend just bought me 2 days ago a brand new BB bold9700 from canada(Bell brand).
everythin is work very well exept one thing...the only browser available at the device is Hotspot(the WiFi browser).
i allready tried to change the Browser Options,but the only available browser is Hotspot and no other Browsers on the list.

i guess im not the first guy that had this problem so i hope u guys can help me with this...

well i got the device from another cuontry and i havent said anythin to my phone Provider...so i guess no?

Give your carrier a ring and tell them you want to add a Blackberry data plan to your account.

even if i do have a normal internet plan?i can use the mobile internet on any other phone,altho BB says i have a 3G?
so i have to buy a BB data plan to unlock the other browsers? there is no other way? iv'e read somethin about Service Book?

You need the BB data plan to get the proper service books for all of the RIM related services - email, BBM, Facebook, BB Browser, etc. A "normal" (a.k.a generic) data plan only gives you limited functionality.

Check the FAQ for "What do I need a data plan for".

And please update your profile to include your cell phone service provider. That helps in troubleshooting problems.

To get the Service Books that you've reaed about, you need a BlackBerry Data Plan, which is different than an Internet plan.

by the way,when im trying to download apps with the Hotspot i allways get an error 907,it has anythin to do with the fact that i wont have an BB data plan?
