My problem it's, when i change or add a contact in groupwise client, the same it's no replicated in BB.
If i wipe the BB, and reactivate the contact apear in the device.
Any idea?
It makes sense that the contact would appear when you reactivate because it does a full scan of that users address book to push it down. Otherwise as ||||| mentioned, it only runs every 4 hours.
I've seen issues w/ Groupwise where the address book only does the inital sync, but nothing further. have you seen this? seems to have come up after the last update.
I was talking with RIM support yesterday and there is supposedly an issue with address book sync with GroupWise on BES 4.1.2.
The problem is with GWCheckPA.exe. Sometimes it stops processing but is still running. You can check if it is processing by the presence of the GWPA log file. If the log file is not there just do an end-task on GWCheckPA.exe in the task manager. It will start again automatically within a few seconds. You should also check for the GWPA log file after this.
I was told it would take up to 12 hours to fully catch up with all the back log of processing.
just got the same info from RIM support last Friday. That does seem to be the little bugger causing all our sorrow. The log file was 0bytes. once the process was manually ended and allowed to respawn the address books appeared to do their thing. just another thing to have to monitor I suppose.
i know nothing of BES, but i am about to be put on one and we use groupwise, so i want to ask. is this 4 hour wait period the same with calender/appointments?
