Default Orange 'vs' O2 - Web access... Differences ?

Please Login to Remove!

Bold 9000

I have a 3rd party Java application for connecting to video recording units over the web, which works perfectly on the Orange network but when using the same settings (apart from the APN) on an O2 Bold 9000, I get a parsing error on login.

Can anyone tell me the difference between Orange & o2 with regard to web access / data handling.... or anything else that could be causing the problem..

I have tried to gain assistance from O2, but they won't give any help at all....

Thanks in advance....

I think I have established the reason for the problem. It appears that O2 do not allow you to stream video through the use of a third party app... Only via the browser...

If you check out the SKY sports mobile service.... They say it will only work with Orange, Vodafone and T Mobile... specifically not o2...

I have tried to establish if this is the reason with o2 technical, who were unable to comment !!!!

Biggest and best mobile provider.... Don't think so....!!
