EVDO Rev 0 does not have the ability to support simultaneous voice and data.
EVDO Rev A has the ability to support simultaneous voice and data. I believe this is done through VOIP voice streams. I don't think either Sprint or Verizon has this enabled yet. Also, AFAIK the Storm is the only Rev A BlackBerry available.
Verizon will support simultaneous voice and data when they move to LTE and Sprint will do the same when the move to WiMAX as far as I know.
