This was a funny one I came accross today! I have a couple of clients still running 3.6 BES servers. One of the admins tried to add a Pearl for one of their users. Now they don't run Desktop Manager and activate straight from the BES as they only have 3 users, but the BES couldn't pick up the device - no drivers for 4.2 devices one would assume. He ended up installing Desktop Manager 4.2 for the drivers on the BES, but then had to run a repair on the BES after!!!!

As just about everyone I know is 4.0 and 4.1 now, has anyone else had fun activating a Pearl on BES 3.6, or is there a recent service pack that includes the drivers perhaps? No point me going to the hassle of installing a 3.6 BES in my test environment and finding out for myself when someone here should know.

Come on crew, help a Mod out!!!!!

Oh don't go there mate!!! I can't remember 3.6 for s**t, let alone consider setting a copy up in my dev environment. I'd sooner be running 4.x upgrades on that puppy but you know how some people are...IT budgets and all that!
