So when you cache a station it just saves the songs to your MicroSD, then when you play them your not using any Data or need a connection?

Also is there a way to play the Cached station without going into the Slacker app? I don't think you can play them on the Blackberry player.

Thanks

You have to go into the Slacer app to play (cached or live). The cached stations are a little more responsive. So far so good. Trying the 7 day trial now and will probably go for the year sub. I will skip a few lunches to pay the $45.00 or so bucks. I'm really liken it so far.

Mine works without a problem.

I installed Slacker yesterday and it played great, though I didn't try caching. Today, however, it behaves strangely. I can start a station and it plays great, but if I try to cache then the screen flashes quickly between the station playing and a screen showing the Slacker logo with xxx8220;Signing Inxxx8221; at the bottom with a rotating icon. The music continued to play while this happened. A restart of the BB was triggered once during this flashing-screen state. I also get the flashing screen if I enter an artistxxx8217;s name in the Station screen.

You need to cache and then let them load from your PC and it will update that way.

Are you able to add more than one custom station at a time with the free version? For some reason it wont let me.

I keep getting this error and don't know if it is just me.
"Login Failed. A connection with the server could not be established"
I get the message after I enter in my Login info.

Am I alone on this?

How much free space do you have on your micro sd/transh flash memory card?

That is the limiting factor.

does playback stop for anyone else when a text message hits your phone? all i had to do was re-open the app as it was running in the background and press play to resume it, but just wondering if this was something anyone else was experiencing

You can cache as many stations as your MC will hold. I presently have 13 cached stations and they work pretty damn well.
