I upgraded our corporate BES from 4.1.2 to 4.1.6 I mistakenly also included MDS services but I don't think this is the root of our problem. Noone is receiving any mail to their blackberrys. The BES reports the IT policys are updated and blackberry messenger and mobile browsing are working. When I try to reprovision the device from BES I get and error that the blackberry agent can't find the user. When I attempt an enterprise activation from the wireless, nothing happens. I resent the service books but that doesn't fix the problem. I verified permissions per KB02276 and they are ok.

Any ideas???

I would restart the Blackberry server first off.

I think I had done that but maybe I had just restarted the BES services. In any event I went ahead and upgraded to MR1, and rebooted and the BES came up fine. However DNS did not (I run a SBS 2003). I kicked my users off again and rebooted and voila, the magical ms solution worked and allowed me a great sigh of relief. BTW, I updated my 8820 and an 8700c so far to the 4.5 OS and it is working much better than th 4.2 available from AT&T. Better attachment viewing by far, much better browsing and wifi is much more stable. I have 2 8800's and 3 more 8700c also to update but it looks smooth. Hope we can go to 4.6 soon.
