Hello -

I recently received a new 9650 from Verizon because mine was recently stolen, and it has the new OS6 system installed. The new OS does not currently support the app I use for my business and the main reason I have the phone. The Verizon stores in the area are not able to give me a new phone with the OS5 or earlier installed. Thus I was wondering if there is a way to load the old OS5 on my phone? Can I just use the link at the the first post of this forum to download the OS5 system to my computer to install? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.

Tried the links above at top of fourm, but all it did was suggest to delete downloads from phone. And then says "The blackberry desktop software does not Blackberry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact wireless service provider"

This is also the wrong forum. (9600 device series should be where it is) Hopefully a mod will move it for you.
