whether there is a possibility of damage if I often do wiping or OS update ???

No. If you follow the steps to the letter, you'll be fine. Some people upgrade every time an OS is leaked for their device.

If you are trying to update via Desktop Manager, did you make sure to locate and delete all copies of VENDOR.XML on the PC C: drive?
