crs,
After receiving E-mail nr. 5 the shading problem occurs, after scrolling over e-mail nr. 5.

Screen section order is:

1. Calls
2. Text messages
3. E-mail
4. Calendar
5. PD-lists
6. RSS
7. Weather
8. Stocks
9. World clocks
10. Google (same shading problem)
11. Tasks
12. System info

The shading issue on email is now corrected. Use check for updates on the pocketday menu. Also, the release notes have been posted to PocketDay

Shading problem at the word "Google", searchbar isn't fixed yet.

Question: Is it possible to give the header of the Calendar section (name, date) a different color from the appointment text? (I can't change the header color with 'Calendar Day Heading' - Color/Font settings.)
Thanks crs

Jannock,

We're looking into the "Google" shading issue...The Calendar Day Heading color should set the color for the labels ("Today", etc.). We'll fix that.

I have been having the same issue with PD for a while now, and wonder if anyone else experiences it.

When I open emails directly from PD with HTML turned on, "smart" quotation marks and apostrophes (the curly ones) are replaced with characters which I believe are Greek letters (one looks like the Greek "E," Epsilon, I believe). If I close the email, go to the BB Mail program, and open it in HTML, it displays properly.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a fix?

Hi looks great.

One thing I've noticed is that all day events seem to be showing on two days. I used to have this problem a while back, but it didn't happen in the release prior to this one.

Any one else noticing this?

Cheers

Ok found that if I create an all day event with the 'pocket day's editor' the event only shows for one day. If I'm using the native bb OS editor it shows up for two.

My all day events also appear at 12am, but I thought that was related to the OS, not PD.

I just tried to update/refresh stocks and nothing happened. Is this a bug?

No issue with stocks...for all day events, try setting the Use Cal Offset in General Settings.

We've corrected the banding issue with the Google search section and will be posting a patch tomorrow.

No even with 'cal Offset' checked an 'all day' event created with the 'native cal/task edit' checked seems to fall over two days.

isn't there a way to have the detail in the line items (for example, RSS sites) not expand on the today screen every time we soft reset? To have to clean things up every time is a real pain

All,

We've posted 5.5.0.3 which corrects a few cosmetic issues like the white shading, etc. Also, please see if HTMl email and quotes have been fixed (they work in the lab).

Use Check for Updates on the PD menu to upgrade.

When you soft reset (or hard reset), everything in PD is expanded by default. We may add a collapse all in the future.

Hi I keep getting
'Uncaught exception: Application PocketDay (127) is not responding: process terminated.'

And my phone freezes.

I never saw this with the previous version.

Cheers
Matt

matchkin,

reset your permissions:

BB options / security options / application permissions. Make sure PD is set to Allow for everything

FYI - I had all the permissions set to Allow.

Did notice that a recent OS update had omitted the defualt memo app. Installed this and it seem stable again.
Is memo needed as it's one of the things you can link to?

No joy solving the duplicate 'All day' events. I this something that you can recreate or am I alone with this problem?

Cheers

@ Matchkin - re your all day events: have you got a reminder other than "none" set on your event. I had a similar problem with all day events "bleeding" into the previous day if a reminder was set and i then synced with Outlook.

Changing the reminder to "none" seemed to clear up the problem.
