Data formats & DM 4.3 USB transfer - 7290

I have seen a description of the 7730 stating it "can be used as USB mass storage device" (limited in storage space by its shared memory of course! - URL upon request); haven't seen this said about the 7290; but I suppose it can do it too? If so:
1)- INTERFACE - does the Destop Manager 4.3 allow file transfer through an interface like Windows Explorer, where you can drag & drop files and directories from/to the device, on the 7290?
2)- DATA FORMAT - Please list what file formats transferred from the PC can the 7290 handle natively in its own apps without conversion: .jpg? .txt? .XLS? etc.? Memory size/storage space limits is understood; the question here, is about file formats/extensions.
3)- 3rd PARTY SOFTWARE EXAMPLE - GridMagic Standard - Excel Compatible BlackBerry Spreadsheet
by Simprit Pte Ltd - It is sold for the 7290; can the spreadsheets be transferred to/from the PC/BB7290 via USB/DM 4.3?
