Does anyone know if AT&T will increase the price of their data plan with the Bold?

That is doubtful... the BB Data Plan should remain the same across the board. They have never done so in the past.

Ok so even if they did raise the rate for the iphone it shouldn't affect bb? thats good news.

I don't think we'll see an increase in the rate plan for personal BlackBerries. AT&T raised the rate plan on the iPhone 3G partly because they're now subsidizing the cost of the device, where they weren't with the first iPhone. BlackBerries have always been subsidized on AT&T when you sign a new contract.

so... how long after the release of the bold do you guys think that AT&T will drop the prices? I know after a month or so phones usually drop.

also.. what about extended batteries? how big of an extended battery do you guys think will come out? something that will last for more than 3 days of heavy usage?
