Hi,
I'm using a BB on BES with older web client. I'm considering upgrading to the new BIS 2.0 but I'm not usre how the mailboxes work. Currently, I have one "Messages" icon on my BB with my work (BES) email and four personal BWC email going to the one mailbox(?). With BIS 2.0 I understand there is a separate mailbox for each personal email account. Does that mean I need to look through and open five different icons to find my messages?

No--all mail will go to the same box.

The BIS-only plan will not allow use of the BES.

if you mean simply using the BIS 2.0 box, you will no longer have online access to email.

If you want all your e-mail to go to the same box still, just hide the new individual personal account icons. All it does is separate them if you want to see e-mails specific to that account. "Messages" will still be all of your e-mails...BES and BIS.

So the new icon will let me see all my gmail emails.

Is there a way to set up a BES icon - just in case I want to see just my work (BES) emails? Or set up the messages box just to show BES?

No; you can not set up a BES only Messages folder.
