Hello All,

I have an 8300, and am interested in adapting a 2.5 mm plug to the 3.5 mm plug on the 8300.

I am not interested in BlueTooth, as I haven't found any that provide the audio fidelity that I like. Yep, I've tried them all.

Most of the wired headsets around have two rings on the plug, and the BB has three.

Has anyone does this? Can anyone tutor me on the how to?

I believe the third ring just provides the functionality for the in-line button to make or end calls. The two ring headphones work perfectly.

You're right, my headphones with a 3.5 mm plug work just fine. The problem is a wired microphone/headset.

I'll check out Seidioonline.com as John Clark suggests.
