Default Pearl with no T-Mobile logo?

Please Login to Remove!

Are there 8100s out there without the T-Mobile logo etched on them? I'm looking for one that's unlocked and I've seen photos without the logo, but the actual handset stamped with it.

Any photos you've seen without the logo are likely prototype photos. You won't find an unbranded Pearl unless the original owner scratched the logo off themselves.

Be careful when you look at the "scratching" techniques. Some people have had luck with a sugar cube, some people have seriously messed their 8100 up because the casing is too soft.

The plastic is not black, it is painted black. So be careful if you do anything with it

No the plastic is black. It just has a gloss finish on it that scratches easy

Oops!
Thanks for clearing that up. I would not want to mess up the gloss though. I was thinking 8700c, grey ugly color with black plastic underneath.
