Default AccuWeather Push - How to remove

Please Login to Remove!

I have the AccuWeather push installed on my BB Curve 8330. It is basically a link on my home screen (browser push? is that what it is called?). Anyway, how do I remove/uninstall that?

It will show up in the bookmarks section of your browser. Delete that entry and double check that you do not have any service books associated with that push service.

It's funny that you ask this today because I have had mine on there for several months and I keep hiding it each time I get a new theme. Now it's gone for good and I'm so happy. The other one that I was able to get rid of was the BPlay.

I don't recall exactly but I can guarantee you that if you use the forum's Search function, you'll find the answer a million times.

It worked out temporally. After a few minutes it reappeared on my home screen. I can't seem to find any service books associated with that push service...

If you find the accuweather link in your bookmark, and press the menu button, you don't see the delete bookmark option?

I got rid of the application by clicking on it and then clicking on cancel on weather screen, it will then ask you if you want to cancel your subsciption, click yes and it should dissapear.

Thanks. I did click on the unsubscribe icon, but I just wanted to be sure that that was all you had to do. I saw someone mention clearing out any service books associated with it, which I could not find.

Default BlackBerry - Web Signals - Accuweather

Go to the BB Web Signals website and delete the AccuWeather web signal that you signed up for...This will get rid of that annoying icon your talking about that keeps coming back!

from your BB browser

I've been trying to delete it for two weeks whenever I delete the channel, it comes back. But after "zenartbb" mentioned the service book it has gone . Great answer!

God, you learn something every day. I've been carrying/selling/supporting Blackberries for years now and I've never heard of 'web signals' before now.
