Question Cannot Delete Users From BES

Please Login to Remove!

When I delete a user from the Blackberry Manager, close and open the Blackberry Manager, the users reappear.

You didn't happen to delete the user from your mail system first did you?

Default deleted user from AD before BES

Our helpdesk deleted one of our users before I had a chance to remove them from BES. Now I am unable to remove him. Does anyone know of a way to get this person off BES? We are running exchange 2000 and BES 3.6.3.8.

Thanks

Have you tried re-adding the user to the Active Forest and confirming the connection in BES? then you should be able to release the user from the BES.

you should be able to drop the user from "userconfig" table. In sqlent manager return all rows
do it at your own risk, I have read it somewhere , have not tried in production environmnet ...

Upgrade the BES from SP3 to SP5. This should address it.

SP4 Readme shows the following for the User Administration client

"Previously, if a userxxx146;s mail account was deleted, the user could not be removed using the BlackBerry User Administration client."

Wondering if that could apply to the MMC as well. And if you're already going to upgrade then why not go to the latest.

Thanks Sohail. I thought about deleting the user from sql but was afraid there might be some hooks somewhere else that would cause problems. If you have a test server, and some time, I'd appreciate you testing that out for me.
