Hi,
I have been running a clean install of BES 4.0 for a few weeks. It's a regular setup on Exchange 2003, nothing out of the ordinary (installed to C: drive, external SQL database, CD-ROM is D
I decided to update to SP1 and have sucessfully done this. My build number now reads 4.0.1 (bundle 22) as expected in the SP1 documentation. I rebooted and the server is fine.
So then I decided to install SP1 Hotfix 2. I downloaded from
www.blackberry.com and clicked on the .msp file, I followed the wizard but at one point that familiar popup box asking for some files appears. it's asking for BlackBerry Enterprise Manager.msi. So I pop in my BES 4.0 CD in the D: drive, point it at that and click ok - no, it doesn't like it and complains the file is not a valid installation package. Eh? It's the same CD I used to install BES!!
I've double checked and I'm definately trying to apply HF2 for SP1, I even downloaded SP1 HF1 but this was exactly the same.
Anyone else had this?
Mike.
