Default My Storm does not Charge more than 95%

Please Login to Remove!

I have had this problem but I noticed it now.. The maximum charge that the phone gets is 95%.. I mean the electric sign keeps coming on the screen but the status shows 95 % even after a charge of good one and a half hour..

Try letting the battery burn down a ways before charging it again. Also, if it's a new device sometimes the battery needs some "exercise" before it gives you 100%

Yup he is right...also, try turning off the phone...I think there's a software glitch on that cuz it'll be charged at 100% but if I turn it off and turn it on...the whole bar is full as oppose to before when it was almost full yet it said 95%...

I think you have to be patient.

My Storm is completly charged in 4-5 hour, in three hours the screen shows 95%, I need one hour more to get 100%, and aprox another half hour more to disapear the ray in the battery logo. I can use my Storm two days aprox with each charge and I use it a lot of.

I know my english is not very well but I want to help this forum in something because it help me a lot of.

I charge mine overnight - every night - and it shows 100% in the mornings. However, I rarely make more than a few short calls each day and receive several text and emails and it is usually almost dead by night time. A couple of times I have had to use the mobile charger just to make it home from work. Don't know whether the battery is weak or what. Most of my day is spent in an area that has little or no cell coverage and I have noticed that on the days that I am in solid coverage all day, the battery stays charged much longer. Not sure what is going on.

Thank you so much for your replies guys.. and k9th.. if you stay in the less coverage area it eats ur battery more than being in a full coverage area.. that is a fact that the phone trying to catch up with signals uses up more battery..
