Lightbulb BB OS Whats the Difference?

Please Login to Remove!

Alright I don't know f any of you came across the Thread Just order 8120?

Well I was givin a few comments about 8120 and that it was coming with the new OS 4.3.... Now if this OS 4.3 is Suppose to be the same as OS 4.5 then whats so different about that OS and the OS 4.5 thats suppose to come out for other BB's? Aren't all the BB programmed the same just with different features and settings? Why is the new OS out for just a few BB and not all BB and if its the same as OS 4.5 then whats the hold up?

I'll take any suggestions, comments.....:

RIM would concentrate more on newer devices, since they have the largest number of users.

Another delay is that some carriers want the OS to be customized to add their custom logos, menus, etc. It can take several months after RIM releases a new OS until a carrier releases their flavor of it.

4.3 is NOT the same as 4.5. 4.3.1 is 4.5. There are many differences that are all over the board.

The OS versions or the different models? Not every model will have the same OS release necessarily available at the same time. It's likely that models within the same generation will have the same OS release but there's no solid rule that this is the case.
