Default PC Sent mail appearing on Torch

Please Login to Remove!

I did a search and couldn't find anything on this.

A few days ago I upgraded to a Torch from a 9700 and now when I send messages from my PC (using Thunderbird) they appear sometime later as a sent message on my BB. This is an IMAP account that is on BIS. This did not happen on my 9700. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

I know I can check "hide sent messages" but they will still be there, I just won't see them. Any help is appreciated.

Wow - 114 views and no answers. I actually have an update. I am sending an email from my PC using my IMAP account (bill@xxxx.net) & it shows up as a sent message on my BB and shows the following info:

Sent using: [email address]
Sender: [email address]
Reply to: [email address]
From: [email address]

Also not every message I send appears on my BB. This did not happen at all until I switched to a 9800 from a 9700. Anyone?

Thunderbird is only the client. What email service are you using?

Seems obvious to me that BIS is sync'ing the handset with the email server, though I have no clue why it appears to be working with the new device and didn't with the old, unless it is something that was just turned on and the timing is coincidence.

I use Hover for my email hosting service. What's weird is that somehow it is interfacing with Gmail but they are separate accounts.
