hello everybody im new to this forum, just wanna need your little guide for installing google map in a blackberry 8100...I already tried downloading it from my phone and install but when i click on the icon it says "network unavailable"
what it is wrong with it?is there any problem in my installing procedure?or might wanna give me a step by step installation on it, it would be match appreciated....plz guys, help me with this...

the matter is that 8100 doesn't have gps. so how can you use google map without gps ?

Having or not having GPS doesn't affect one's ability to d/l and install Google Maps. In fact Google Maps doesn't even require GPS in order to work properly. It can approximate your location by pinging nearby cell towers.

The one thing it does require is a data plan. I'm assuming you have one? Otherwise it sounds like a network related issue -- check your TCP settings for your respective carrier.

HUH? My 8110 purchased 2 mos ago has GPS.

Again you don't need GPS in order to use Google Maps.

You have an 8110. The OP has an 8100.
