My mom bought three pearls 1800 two red and one black where the reds were a little more expensive than the black, and so it happens the red ones don't have bb messenger while the black one does and i can't download it from blackberry.com cuz it says the sofware is not compatible (it is with 4.0 and 4.1) and i have the v4.5.0.18 (the EXACT same the black one has)!.. PLEASE PLEASE help me i've done A LOT of research but can't find any help!

I'd appreciate any colaboration so much since i was so excited about being able to use the bb messenger features!

Go to the very first post in this forum and download the latest OS and follow the instructions to update your phone and you can then go ahead and install the BlackBerry messenger when you do the update.

Yup kirrinjones is right. Just make sure it's checked when you are about to load the new OS
