Default Some Newb Questions

Please Login to Remove!

1. Today when I turned my phone on, and went to messages, it showed "No messages" but it said I had new ones. So I had to go into the applications area and click on SMS and MSS to get my new texts. Why can't I view them from the main menu like before? And how can I switch it back?

2. Can you change the 5 icons on the main screen? Messages, contacts, calendar, etc...

3. How can you do seperate ring tones (One for calls, one for texts, etc)

4. I have unlimited texting, not any internet package, but I have Wi-Fi...can I use AIM/etc? Any way to use the Internet at all with out a package?

5. Do you need internet to download applications?

thanks

1) Messages > Options > General Options > SMS& Email = Combined

2) Highlight an icon, press the menu key, select move. The first 5 icons will show on the "main screen." Move the icons you want on that screen to the top row.
