Well, for what it's worth, I checked Where on my iPod Touch, and it showed the same prices as Poynt (the wrong prices). So it seems that the issue is the provider of gas price data has some flaws.

I misspoke. .36 does have weather forecast. Just click on the temperature.

How is .36 still considered a BETA when it has been officially released on the Poynt website and is also available in AppWorld?
Good question. I still consider a beta because they are releasing a private beta with versions that overlap .36.

Ah, I see. I think that's simply development continuing. I see .36 as a released version. Anything beyond that (until the next released version) could, however, be considered a BETA.

In any case, we may be splitting hairs. I finally got a response from Multiplied Media. They indicated that gas prices were off because of some update issues. They asked me to check again, and indicated that gas prices should be updated once an hour. They also indicated that they are working on bug fixes as we speak.

I'll check tomorrow to see what happens when I compare Poynt to local gas stations.

Thank you. I assume the technology was originally correct and may not be a Poynt issue as they are only as good as the input they receive

Very true. Poynt is otherwise an excellent application that I won't go without. Even if the gas prices never pan out for my area, I will still recommend the app. It's that good.
